5 Reasons Why Engineering Aspirants Consider Clearing JEE Main

The necessity of earning a living, that
too in a dignified manner, has intrigued students to take up a career in engineering
after the class 12th exams. Over the past few decades, no other
career choices have been so fruitful as compared to engineering. This excellent
record showcases the interests of students taking up engineering as their
career choice. Certainly, it is well-accepted by almost all meritorious
students who dream of pursuing their favourite engineering courses at the IITs
(Indian Institutes of Technology). To get into the IITs require the minimum
qualification, i.e. to clear the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

5
Worthwhile Opportunities for Students after Qualifying JEE Main

Qualifying the JEE Main entrance examination bequeaths an aspirant a wide myriad
of opportunities. Here’s a list created by a group of industry experts to give
budding engineers an insight into the career scope after cracking the JEE Main 2020 exam.

  1. Ticket to JEE Advanced Exam

JEE Advanced is the next level entrance
examination to get into the IITs. Students who crack the JEE Main exam and
manage to rank amongst the top 2.24 lakh aspirants will be allowed to appear in
the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. The IIT JEE Advanced exam 2020 will be conducted in two compulsory
phases – Paper I and Paper II. There will be three (3) important sections –
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. All the questions will be compulsory,
objective-type. Only after clearing JEE
Main and Advanced
the candidates will be placed in one of the 23 IITs
across India.

  • NITs Make Perfect Alternatives to IITs

Indeed, not everyone makes it to the IITs.

However, your preparation, your hard work,
and all the efforts would not go in vain even though you didn’t score enough for
the Indian Institutes of Technology. Such students can always contemplate
getting admission into the NITs. The National Institutes of Technology are
neither lacking in imparting quality education. NITs are the second best
autonomous public institutes of higher education in the country.

  • When Government Colleges Are Too Hard to Resist

The JEE
Main score
is given preference for admission
to various Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The Joint Seat
Allocation Authority (JoSAA) administers the admission procedure for GFTIs.
Those who have cleared the NTA JEE Main
test should give it a try. However, the seat allotment is subject to merit.

  • Private Colleges Considering JEE Main
    Score

Life doesn’t end for engineering students
if they don’t get accepted by the above colleges. They still have a bright
career ahead. Some of the top-notch private colleges that accept JEE Main
qualifiers are Amity School of Engineering (Noida), Graphic Era University
(Dehradun), Amrita School of Engineering (Coimbatore), Galgotias College of
Engineering and Technology (Greater Noida), Birla Institute of Technology
(Mesra), Chandigarh University (Chandigarh), Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of
Technology (Hyderabad) and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
(Mumbai).

  • Learn Advance Programming Languages

Your chance of studying advance programming languages like Python,
Ruby on Rails, Browser Coding,
and Ethical
Hacking
at the best technical
institutes in India
becomes higher when you make it to the JEE Main qualifying
list. Students who wish to work for big software development companies
including prototyping, language development, web applications, and gaming must
study Python. This is a high-level programming
language and has automatic memory management and dynamic features, which make
it apt for various applications.
