Nike is closing all of its stores in the US because of the coronavirus outbreak
The company said Sunday morning that New Coronavirus is closing all its stores in the United States, as well as other parts of the world, to prevent the spread of the virus.
From March 27, the United States will open stores in Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on Monday, the company said.
Nike is closing all of its stores in the U.S., along with other parts of the world, to try to curb the spread of the new coronavirus, the company said Sunday morning.
The spokesperson confirmed to CNBC that workers would be paid full compensation even during this time.
Meantime, Nike is still keeping open its stores in SouthKorea, Japan, most of China and in ”many other countries,” the company said, based on daily assessments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nike is on the growing list of companies taking similar initiatives. Retailer including Patagonia, Apple, Warby Parker, Urban Outfitters, Glossier and Allbirds are shutting their stores in the U.S. Walmart and Lululemon are among the retailer that are limiting store hours. In Italy
